Placement Cell

This is the backbone of any leading B-School. The cell will operate directly under the Director with the guidance of a senior professionals with extensive industry exposure. In addition, the Board members have very strong contacts in the industry. The Institute will regularly invite eminent personalities from various industries for guest lectures and participating in seminars. All this will ensure that students interact with professionals, thereby enhancing their understanding of the real life implementation of management concepts. These initiatives will support IBI's objective, "To Develop Tomorrow’s Managers Today”. The cell will ensure developing the overall personality of the student, thereby enhancing the student's career prospects.

Hence it will provide:

• Individual grooming and workshops for skill development viz. presentation, interview & group discussion skills, etc.
• Career conferences, which will provide critical insights into the working of a business organization from specialists in each functional area.
• An integrated programme of talks, seminars, courses, and interaction with experienced career advisors.

Beyond the class-Room

In Management education- Theory and practice go concurrently; hence IBI will strive to achieve a good balance between academics and extracurricular Activities. Though the students will work hard in the classroom, they are also expected to lead an active life outside. They will utilize their energy for diverse Activities such as organizing guest lectures, and Participating in inter and intra-business school competitions.Inter B-school Contests Students shall be encouraged to actively participate in inter B school contests and organize annual inter business school meets, which will offer opportunities for closer interaction and friendship with students from other B-Schools.

The Institute has already taken membership of ALL India Management Association.Later; Membership of National HRD will also be taken which will help students meet professionals from the industry.

Value addition

IBI Provides soft skill modules for the overall personality development of the student, enhancing the student's career prospects, including English speaking lab to develop professional effectiveness and excellence.

English lab:-
Skills in spoken and written English are a prerequisite to quality placements. The English Lab will help improve the spoken and written skills of students.

Workshops:-
IBI will organize special workshops for soft skill development like presentaions,group discussions, interview skills,etc.Also students will periodically visit business establishments to gain a firsthand knowledge of the working of various business organizations.

Industry visits:-
Students will periodically visit business establishment to gain a firsthand knowledge of the working of various business organizations. During the industry visits students will be exposed to the working environment at first hand. Senior executives of the organizations being visited shall provide valuable insights into the working of the organizations.

Foreign Language:-
In the current scenario where we intend having global leaders it is imperative that students know more than one language. Hence IBI will run classes to impart at least one foreign language.
